56 Units Zhongtong Electric Buses to Arrive in Beijing for Operation

www.chinabuses.org: Recently, Zhongtong announced that it was busy manufacturing 56 units electric city buses, which are scheduled to arrive in Beijing in the middle of September this year. It is also extremely encouraging that the first batch of Zhongtong buses will soon be playing important roles in Beijing’s public transport market, ushering a new era for the bus brand in Beijing. According to the bus maker, all these vehicles will be put into service on the main bus routes in Miyun District.
To be specific, the vehicle to be delivered to Beijing will be the eight-meter Zhongtong electric bus LCK6809EVGK. As a sales champion in new energy bus market in 2016, LCK6809EVGK has been maintaining a fast growing momentum in 2017 despite the sluggish new energy bus market. So far, the vehicle has sold over 1,000 units, remaining the top selling vehicle in the new energy bus market.
First entering Beijing’s travel bus market in 2000, Zhongtong has already built a huge presence in the capital’s the tourist transport and commuting service market. In April this year, Zhongtong delivered 500 units travel coaches to Beijing market, making the largest deal in China’s travel coach market.
