Allison Cooperates with Zhongtong Bus to Enter Indonesia BRT Market

Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is now positively promoting BRT transit bus to improve urban traffic jam, which is responsible for delivering over 200,000 people per day. Therefore, local governmental passenger transport purchasing institute purchased 66 Zhongtong LCK6180GC 18m articulated buses equipped with Allison automatic transmission. All of these new buses have been into operation in Jakarta No.1 BRT special route.

Zhongtong LCK6180GC bus export is the largest 18m articulated BRT bus export project for Indonesia TransJakarta Busway so far. All of 66 exported buses are equipped with Allison T375R transmission. Since put into operation, these BRT buses with automatic transmission aroused positive response. Ministry of Transport of Indonesia, Jakarta municipal government and common passengers all gave high praise over the reliability, durability, high efficiency and security of the bus.
