Higer Plug-in New-energy Bus Into Operation in Jiangmen Downtown

In prior to this purchasement, Jiangmen Public Transportation proceeded with two-month trial operation of plug-in hybrid electric bus and gained confidence. Finally, Jiangmen Public Transportation decided to purchase Higer plug-in hybrid electric bus owing to its reliable technology and lower failure rate. Years of cooperation makes this successful purchasement of Higer and Jiangmen Public Transportation. For now over 100 Higer buses--KLQ6109GCHEV1A are in operation. In April of 2013, 30 Higer plug-in hybrid electric buses purchased by Jiangmen Public Transportation went into operation.

After-sales service staff would be in Jiangmen for a permanent period to provide training for drivers, maintenance staff and drivers driving Higer buses and make them gradually master maintenance of new-energy bus traditional components.

Charged Higer New-energy Bus in the Night

These 30 Higer plug-in hybrid electric buses are all equipped with American Maxwell super capacitor and battery of Shenzhen Optimum. Lv Guowen said, “Warranties of capacitor and battery are respectively 8 and 5 years. Higer Bus provides great support and eliminate all the concerns.”

Chen Zhaoling, responsible for maintenance work, keeps following all these buses. He said, “Due to automatic transmission of the buses, labor intensity of drivers is greatly decreased and bus becomes popular among drivers. Due to jounce of shift, passengers feel satisfied with the improved comfort. What’s more, plug-in hybrid electric bus makes smaller noise and completely eliminates loud engine noise and heavy emission in start-up. Thus, no black off-gas comes out and no complain of citizens appears. As for energy conservation, energy-saving rate of these buses is qualified with company’s expectation.”

These 30 plug-in hybrid electric buses are into operation of Route 107 and 18, which are all with more passengers in Jiangmen city. These two routes are with many traffic lights, frequent start-stops and are over 200km with huge passenger flow. The fact tells that Higer new-energy bus stands the test.
