Wen Jiabao: Planning of Energy Conservation & New Energy Vehicles Industry Development

www.chinabuses.org: On April 18, the Premier of State Council Wen Jiabao chaired the Standing Committee Conference of State Council and deployed 2012 the key work of Chinese government on the information publicity. After the discussion, Planning of Energy Conservation & New Energy Vehicles Industry Development (2012-2020) was been passed through.
During the conference, the government will speed up the development of the energy saving and new energy vehicles industry for the protection of the environment. The pure electric power vehicle is as the main development direction for the vehicles industry transformation. It plans that in the year of 2015, the production & sales of the pure electric vehicles & the plug-in hybrid electric vehicles reach 500,000 units. In 2050, the production & sales of them could be over 5000,000 units.
