According to the data from China Automobile Association, the market shares of Zhongtong buses are 5.03% in the large-sized bus market in the last half of 2011, 1.27 percentage up; 2.50% in the midibus market, 0.41 percentage up, showing increasing competitive advantages in the these markets.
In the last half of 2011, the overseas sales of Zhongtong Bus grow in significant, with the sales revenue of 310 million Yuan, year-on-year growth of 87.2%, contributing a lot to the overall growth of 23.3% of this builder (770 million Yuan for the domestic market, year-on-year growth of 7.0%). Zhongtong Bus further opens the overseas market and promotes dealership, developing sales network as well as service network, setting up four offices and has exported 929 buses & coaches, year-on-year growth of 155.0 %.
