Higer · Global Footprints:The Extreme-Temperature Test for Higer's Overseas Service

20 August 2026

In the height of summer, heatwaves sweep across the Northern Hemisphere. From the scorching sunshine of South Korea to the sand-blasted terrain of Senegal — from open-air depots under the midday sun to highways ravaged by sandstorms — a gruelling "high-temperature examination" is unfolding simultaneously across the globe.
On this sweltering frontline, the overseas service team of Higer stands firm. Armed with robust technical expertise as their spearhead and an unwavering sense of responsibility as their shield, they infuse the resilience and dedication of "Chinese-style service" into every Higer bus in operation. Under scorching sun and blinding sand, they build an unbreakable cooling safeguard for global mobility.

Defying Blazing Sun for Full-Scale Maintenance

Beneath South Korea's sweltering summer sun, temperatures soar to 38°C. Working in fully exposed open-air depots, Higer's local service team races against time to carry out vehicle maintenance. With rainy seasons and typhoons posing constant challenges, the waterproof performance of Higer transit buses operating across South Korea has become a top priority.
Baking under extreme heat, service engineers meticulously inspect the windscreen sealing of each Higer bus, their uniforms soaked through with sweat. Leaning over the front ends, they check every inch of sealant along the windscreen edges to guarantee perfectly tight sealing for all glass panels. No air-conditioned rooms, no sun shelters — only the heat radiating off asphalt roads and the chorus of cicadas. Through close teamwork, the team completed thorough sealing inspections for all Higer electric buses in South Korea, leaving no potential leak point unchecked and ensuring reliable performance through the monsoon and typhoon seasons ahead.

Braving Sandstorms, Upholding the Mission

In mid-July, Higer's field-based service engineers received a distress call: a Higer KLQ6123K bus required urgent maintenance in Louga, 220 kilometres north of Dakar, Senegal's capital. Higer's West Africa service team responded immediately and arrived on-site without delay. Yet at 3 p.m. that day, weather conditions turned violent — sandstorms swept in with heavy rain. Sand filled the air and visibility plummeted, forcing passing vehicles to switch on headlights and proceed at crawling speed.

Faced with the client's anxiety and raging sandstorms, Higer's service staff stood their ground. Squatting beneath the vehicle amid swirling sand, they troubleshot each component one by one and finally completed the maintenance work. Both the client and driver gave thumbs-up, repeatedly praising the overseas team for their rapid response and professional handling. From receiving the service request to completing repairs — spanning most of a day and night, crossing more than 200 kilometres of wilderness — Higer's service personnel honoured the promise that "distance knows no bounds" with real-world action.
Higer's Global Service Footprint in Numbers

South Korea and Senegal represent only snapshots of Higer's worldwide service network. In the first half of 2026, Higer's Overseas Customer Service Department delivered solid results:

182 service stations worldwide supporting vehicle maintenance for global clients

381 engineer person-times dispatched for overseas field assignments

Over 15,000 cumulative service days logged

Between January and June, 71 special service programmes were planned and executed, covering 23 countries and regions and 2,365 newly delivered overseas vehicles, enabling efficient resolution of overseas service cases.

To boost response speed and service quality, Higer continues advancing localised service capacity. Local foreign engineers have clocked 5,210 service days, accounting for 59% of total overseas on-site service hours.

Substantial efforts have also been invested in overseas service training. In H1 2026, 45 special training sessions for new-energy technicians and 27 overseas customer training courses were held, continuously empowering global service teams and partners.

From faster response to efficient case closure, from country-wide service coverage to over 15,000 days of dedicated field work, Suzhou King Long Higer adopts an "empowerment-driven" service model — ensuring that every Higer bus exported worldwide receives dependable protection, no matter where the road leads.
