Zhongtong Bus Launching Electric Logistics VAN
31 July 2024
As a logistics van, loading space is absolutely the first consideration. A successful logistics vehicle should maximize space utilization within appropriate body dimensions. The Zhongtong T6 has length, width, and height dimensions of 4890mm, 1715mm, and 2035mm, respectively, which are very suitable for navigating city streets and ensuring driving flexibility.
Thanks to optimized design, the cargo volume is up to 6 cubic meters, allowing for efficient cargo handling and profitable operations. Among medium-sized logistics vehicles, this volume is very standard. The cargo compartment dimensions are 2670mm in length, 1550mm in width, and 1350mm in height. Besides the volume data, we also need to consider the internal regularity. Except for the position of the rear wheel cover, the cargo compartment of the Zhongtong T6 can be said to have a nearly pure rectangular shape, maximizing the use of limited space.
At the same time, the cargo compartment offers diverse opening methods. The right side of the vehicle is equipped with a sliding door with an opening width of 850mm, which facilitates cargo access in narrow spaces without affecting the movement trajectory after unloading. Moreover, the tailgate supports a 180-degree opening, allowing full utilization of the large opening of the cargo compartment. The height from the cargo platform to the ground is only 730mm, making it easier to handle large items.
In terms of power, the Zhongtong T6 has a peak motor power of 70kW and a peak torque of 230N·m, providing sufficient power for easy acceleration even when loaded.
Regarding battery life, the Zhongtong T6 has a battery capacity of 41.86kWh and a CLTC range of 265km, sufficient for a full day of urban logistics and distribution. The advantage of using a tier-one brand battery lies in its quality, with an ultra-long warranty of 8 years or 400,000 kilometers, which covers the entire vehicle lifecycle in some ways, allowing users to use it with confidence.
