From August 7 to August 17, the 12th World Games (hereinafter referred to as the "Chengdu World Games") will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan. This is the first time that Mainland China has hosted the World Games. In this top-level event that highlights the concept of "green and low-carbon," there will be a number of cute yet environmentally friendly special figures—hydrogen fuel cell buses from Chengdu Bus Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chengdu Bus"). These buses will shuttle daily between competition venues, transportation hubs, and the World Games Village, responsible for transporting event staff, athletes, media journalists, and other personnel, supporting the logistics of the event with green technology.

According to the introduction, the hydrogen fuel cell buses participating in the transportation services of the World Games are equipped with fuel cell stacks from Dongfang Electric Corporation, and Chengdu Bus has independently developed the vehicle controller and hydrogen storage controller, deeply mastering core technologies such as fuel cell and power system calibration matching, energy management, and hydrogen system safety. The buses have an average hydrogen consumption of about 3.4 kg per 100 kilometers, with reliability and energy consumption performance leading the nation. The only emission from the vehicles is water, making them truly "zero-emission." In addition, the vehicles are equipped with a new high-efficiency drive motor and intelligent electronic control system, and feature multiple technological functions such as intelligent scheduling, active driving safety, and vehicle health monitoring.
