Zhongtong Electric Buses Provide Smooth Transportation Services for Africa Cup of Nations 2023

On February 12, the final competition of the 34th Africa Cup of Nations was held in Abidjan, the capital city of Côte d’Ivoire. Côte d’Ivoire beat Nigeria 2:1 and won its third champion of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Since the opening of the Africa Cup of Nations on January 14 this year, Zhongtong electric buses have been put into service, providing greener and smooth transportation services for footballers and audiences. According to local media, it is the very first time for electric buses to work in the country.
With highly reliable performances and a comfortable traveling environment, Zhongtong electric bus has gone through several major adjustments before they arrive in Côte d’Ivoire. In November, 2023, Zhongtong set up a special work team, which worked closely with the local bus operator and thus gained full knowledge of the operation needs and local working conditions. In the meantime, recharging stations were built and bus drivers’ training sessions were held before the arrival of Zhongtong electric buses.
In recent years, Zhongtong has been constantly strengthening its presence in the overseas market. Boasting a wide spectrum of bus & coach products, it has made its way to Chile, South Korea, Egypt, Portugal, Germany and Argentina. Not long ago, it secured a deal of 120 units electric buses from Singapore, greatly strengthening its presence in the country.
