REGISTRATION FOR HYDROGEN FUEL CELL FEEDER BUS VENDOR

The Sarawak Government, through the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), intends to develop a new transportation system, that is the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) - aiming to transform Kuching into a dynamic and competitive city with the provision of user-friendly mobility services. KUTS will alleviate traffic congestion and enable people to move about more efficiently in the Greater Kuching area, thereby creating more economic opportunities and enabling trade as well as facilitating access to broader markets and services.
The intent of this registration for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Feeder Bus Vendor is to identify vendors, who will subsequently be invited to submit competitive tenders for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Feeder Buses as stated in the table below.
The Vendor Registration Form can be download from the Sarawak Metro website at www.mysarawakmetro.com and it is the Vendor's responsibility to ensure all submissions are complete, with the necessary supporting documents duly attached. Incomplete submissions and inadequate information shall delay and inability to process the Vendors’ registration.

Vendor Registration for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Feeder Bus | Interested Vendor shall comply to the following requirement: - a) Company registered with Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) and/or Registrar of Business/Company: -To provide Certified True Copy of the relevant Company Secretarial Documents and/or Registrar of Business/Company. b) Foreign Owned Company Locally Incorporated: -To provide Certified True Copy of Form 8 or Form 9 or Form 13 or Form 14A (if any);and/or Locally Registered: -To provide Certified True Copy of Form 83 or Form 83A (if any). c) Foreign Company To provide Certified True Copy of Company's Incorporation Certificate certified by authority in the country of origin. |

Joint Venture or Consortium between local companies is ALLOWED to be registered as Sarawak Metro’s Vendor subject to compliance with the following conditions: (i) The Joint Venture or Consortium shall not consist of more than three (3) companies. (ii) Each Vendor is allowed to register once only, in the formation of the Joint Venture or Consortium for the particular Works Package. If any Applicant is found to have registered in more than the allowed number of times, all applications will be DISQUALIFIED. |

Designed with composite hydrogen pressure cylinder technology, with capability to achieve travel range of 300 km in a single fill Designed with low floor chassis (step-less for both entrance and exit). Designed for 7-metre, 9-metre and 10-metre length, with maximum width of 2500 mm. Designed with separate passenger doors for entrance and exit. Designed with anti-slip wheelchair ramp for mobility-impaired persons. Designed with air-conditioning system. Designed with electronically controlled air suspension with kneeling and lifting function. Designed for a service life of minimum fifteen (15) years and suitable for Malaysia’s tropical climate. a) To provide list of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Feeder Bus related projects completed within the past five (5) years. b) To provide list of on-going Hydrogen Fuel Cell Feeder Bus related projects. c) Vendors who wish to be registered shall preferably have experience in Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) or related projects. |
