500 Units Ankai Buses Ready to Serve Passengers in Myanmar

www.chinabuses.org: On May 10, a total number of 500 units Ankai natural gas-powered buses came off the assembly line in Ankai’s production base in Hefei. They were handed over to their operator, Yangon Public Transport Co., Ltd. in Myanmar. On April 11 this year, Ankai secured the deal with the bus operator in Myanmar for 500 units natural gas-powered buses with a total value of 28 million USD (about 193 million RMB). 
 
Achieving high adaptability and fuel economy and providing a host of travel amenities, Ankai natural gas-powered bus has been enjoying a rising popularity in the market. So far, its number has exceeded 10,000 units. Considering the special conditions in Myanmar, such as the weather, urban roads and passenger flows, a number of measures have been taken to make the vehicle more suitable for the local market. For example, the bus has successfully passed several stringent tests, such as over 5,000 km operation with fast speed, operation in full capacity on some bumpy roads.

In addition, its gas tank with a volume of 650 liters has been moved to the roof of the vehicle, giving more interior space for the bus. Its heat radiation system for the engine and its AC system can fully ensure safe operation of the bus and the travel comforts for all passengers in summer. Ankai’s electrophoresis for the whole vehicle can fully ensure its smooth operation and long life expectancy. The fifth generation Ankai premium transmission chain technology helps the vehicle deliver stable and powerful performances.
