Despite the pressures of global financial crisis, Chinese auto experts and enterprises still think the impact on the auto industry will be limited. They believe China should turn the crisis into an opportunity. Chinese people are still optimistic about the auto market.

Zhaohang, Director of China Auto Technology Research Center says, "Despite the slower economic growth, domestic demand is still strong. We still have opportunities. Taking advantage of the macro economic situation, we can adjust our industrial structure to deal with financial turmoil, preparing for future development."

The National Development and Reform Commission also says that the government will carry out policies to drive domestic demands, including policies to increase farmers' incomes and rural infrastructure investment. Some auto enterprises believe this will lead to new business opportunities for them.
