Recently, 121 new energy buses from Xiamen King Long arrived in Copiapó, Chile, helping the city become the first in Latin America to have a 100% electric bus system. In the first half of this year, Xiamen King Long sold nearly 6,000 buses in overseas markets, a year-on-year increase of about 60%. Among them, bus export sales in the first five months ranked first in the national industry. Most of these buses will be used for the green upgrade of public transportation in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. The stable growth in exports is driven by the companies' continuous innovation and research and development, as well as the creation of their own brands. As of June, Xiamen King Long has accumulated 1,355 authorized intellectual property rights, ranking at the forefront of the industry, with its brand value exceeding 100 billion yuan for the first time.
