Cummins: Global Economic Recession Affects Sale

According to the news from Cummins shows that its sales and profit in the first quarter of 2009 were low due to the global recession affected demand for the products. Sales for the quarter were $2.44 billion, down 30 percent from $3.47 billion year-on-year. Cummins now expects 2009 sales to be slightly more than 30 percent lower than 2008.
