14 June 2016
www.chinabuses.org: On June 4 and 5, China’s Driver Training Market Innovation Forum & 2016 Drivers’ Training School Association Annual Conference was held in Hefei, Anhui Province. Organized by China Communication and Transportation Association and China Drivers’ Training School Association, the event has attracted experts and persons-in-charge from 30 provinces and autonomous regions across China. During the two-day events, participants held in-depth discussions and exchanged views on a number of issues faced by drivers’ training schools.
Suzhou-based Higer, as one of the participants, brought four “low-carbon” new energy buses and newly upgraded “Green Manager 2.0” new energy solution on display, demonstrating the bus maker’s determination to help urban areas pursue low-carbon-style development road.
Qian Kun, a technician from Higer, put forward a Low-Carbon Intelligence Path, showing all attendees how new energy vehicles and recharging posts can be applied in the drivers’ training industry.
The vehicles showcased at the forum by Higer can fully live up to people’s expectation for low-carbon life style. Moreover, thanks to the governments’ subsidies, these vehicles can help drivers’ training schools cut costs dramatically. Take Higer’s 10.5-meter electric coach for example, it only costs 0.3 RMB per kilometer. In sharp contrast, the same type of coach powered by diesel will use up to 25 liters of fuel with a cost per kilometer reaching 1.31 RMB.
It is also worth mentioning that Higer Low-Carbon Intelligence Path not only provides new energy products, it also rolls out new energy solutions specially tailored to suit customers’ needs. Higer buses equipped with G-BOS Intelligence Operating System has fully integrated safe driving management system, fuel consumption monitoring system, GPS, and trouble alarming system. Thus, trainees’ incorrect operation steps can be corrected in time. During the forum, many participants rode Higer buses and expressed their admiration for effective solutions.
Higer’s low-carbon concept has been fully recognized by all participants. By taking full advantage of new energy vehicles and more advanced management tools, drivers’ training schools are playing an indispensable role in push forward the green transport development.
