www.chinabuses.org: On Jun. 2 at an auto theme park, Yutong high-end business vehicle T7 officially started an all-around stringent test which includes ten different testing items. By going through such a difficult test, Yutong is aiming to demonstrate the high quality standards of T7. “Beijing was chosen as the starting point for such a test as the capital city’s strategic location can helps us greatly to strengthen our market presence. The choice was also made out of our absolute confidence in the quality of our vehicle”, according to Chao Lihong, Deputy General Marketing Director of Yutong for its domestic market.

The test first includes field testing and road testing. More specifically speaking, the field testing involves air quality test, S-bend controllability test, zero-to-80 km/h speed increase test, 60 km/h-to-zero braking performance test, and minimum turning radius test, etc. In the meantime, the road test involves air-conditioner cooling/heating test, interior noise test, speed increase rate test, ride comfort test, uphill performance test, etc.

Equipped with GE 6.0-litre V8 gasoline engine imported from the United States, Yutong luxury business vehicle T7 can reach 232 kilowatts in its rated power and 490N?m in its maximum torque. With stronger power, T7 has easily passed the adaptability test and it generates significantly less noise while in operation when compared with diesel-powered vehicles. It is also worth mentioning that V8 gasoline engine, as a type of cylinder layout internal combustion engine, is generally used on the middle-end and high-end vehicles. A number of foreign luxury auto brands, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Chrysler, all choose V8 gasoline engine.

Thanks to its powerful engine, it only takes 21 seconds for Yutong T7 to increase its speed from zero to 80 km/h. Moreover, it takes much less time than the general standard of 25.5 seconds for it to increase its speed from 60 km/h to 100 km/h.

Besides its impressive power, T7 also offers unparalleled driving and travel comforts. One passenger who rode T7 recounted that he could hardly sense any uncomfortable vibrations or bumping while the vehicle was raising its speed. A technician from Yutong reveals that technical engineers from the company have made great efforts and have finally succeeded in effectively reducing any unnecessary vibrations when the vehicle is running on some bumpy roads.
         

Chao Lihong, Deputy General Marketing Director of Yutong for its domestic market, also points out that T7 high-end business vehicle is going to operate under a number of challenging road conditions, including deserts, beaches, gobi and frozen lands. Moreover, it will be tested by some extreme weather conditions, such as strong winds, heavy rain and sandstorms. It will also go through the high altitude test, high temperature test and low temperature test. Covering over 25,000 km, the all-around test is a comprehensive trial of Yutong T7 under extreme weather conditions on various road conditions and terrains. Yutong is fully confident that T7 will deliver a satisfactory performance.


“After starting from Beijing, Yutong T7 will also travel to Tianjin, Shenyang, Lhasa, Guiyang, Wuhan, Hangzhou and a number of other domestic cities. With 21 stops in total, the vehicle will finally arrive in Taiyuan and travel a total distance of over 25,000 km, covering 2/3 of China’s land surface in 21 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, and thus finishing the veritable ‘Long March’”, according to Chao Lihong.
