Guangdong Offers 326 Million RMB Subsidies for New Energy Vehicles

www.chinabuses.org: According to the website of Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the province is offering 326 million RMB for the marketization of new energy vehicles in the Pearl River Delta this year, excluding Shenzhen.
Guangzhou is planning to introduce 3,000 units of plug-in passenger cars, 1,100 units of plug-in passenger cars for official use, and 1,700 units of plug-in buses this year. In total, the government intends to popularize 10,000 units green vehicles, offering 111 million RMB subsidies.
It is learnt that the subsidies offered to various levels of local governments will be used for purchases and rental of new energy vehicles as well as the battery rental and replacement. In addition, local governments have the freedom to choose their own operating modes.
