NGD 100 LNG Buses Start Operation in Nanjing

www.chinabuses.org: On Jun. 13, the first batch of 40 units LNG buses manufactured by Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. (also known as NGD) were officially put into operation in Jiangning District. Powered by liquified natural gas, the buses produce less exhaust. Out of the 40 units, 30 are working on bus route No. 101 while the rest 10 are operating on bus route No. 180. According to the bus maker, the second batch of 60 units will soon be delivered to its customer and start working on bus route D8, Dist. No.21 and Jinhu Line, etc.
The LNG buses manufactured by NGD boast high fuel economy and low emission. They also provide passengers with a number of travel comforts. So far, the bus has served in Qingdao Olympic Games. With the maturity of its bus manufacturing technologies, the company will continue to make its own contributions to the green development of Nanjing and provide eco-friendly transport solutions for the local citizens.
