Recently, a batch of buses equipped with Yuchai natural gas engines was delivered to the state of Nuevo León in Mexico, providing a stable and reliable power solution for the local public transportation system upgrade.

It is reported that this batch of orders is the first to arrive in Mexico from the 600 natural gas bus orders won last year. In recent years, Yuchai has secured three batches of natural gas bus orders in Nuevo León. Currently, 1,400 buses equipped with Yuchai natural gas engines are in operation in the state, and it is expected to exceed 2,500 units by the end of 2025.

Since entering the Mexican market, Yuchai has been deeply involved for years. Its natural gas engines have grown from nothing to a significant presence, and now hold more than 60% of the market share for natural gas bus engines in Mexico, with the highest number of units in service among engine brands.
