40 School Buses in Sichuan Province Install GPS

www.chinabuses.org: On May 12th 2013, all the 40 units of the school buses in Zizhong County, Sichuan Province were all installed with Global Positioning Systems (GPS) after two months’ preparation.
The GPS equipment will allow transportation safety regulators to monitor the location and speed of school buses.The GPS Monitoring System is to eliminate the potential unsafely of the school bus as to protect the safety of the primary and secondary schools students.
Meanwhile, conduct road safety control and reinforce the management of safety potential risk in accident-prone sections. Illegal activities such as over-speed, overload, drunk driving and fatigue driving, etc must be governed.
