18m King Long City Bus Debuts in Taiwan

www.chinabuses.org: On April 23rd, Taipei Capital Bus Company and Metropolitan Transport Corporation held the press conference for two new city buses to be used in the city-King Long XMQ6120AGD (12m, tri-door and low floor) and XMQ6180G (18m articulated bus).
"It is a great honor to bring two of our best buses here to share our achievements in safety, energy-efficiency and comfort with Taipei citizens." General Manager of King Long Guo Renxiang told the reporter during the conference.
18m King Long XMQ6180G articulated city bus became the focus at the site, with the large capacity of carrying 180 passengers, twice as many as one regular 12m city bus. Meanwhile, 12m XMQ6120AGD low-floor city bus also attracted the attention, especially the tri-door design, convenient for the passengers to get on and off the bus.
Responsible persons concerned said: "Facing the competition of Taipei Metro, we'd like to introduce new buses to attract more passengers with convenient and comfortable transportation."
It's said King Long has exported over 100 buses to Taiwan since 208 and the ones like XMQ6120AGD and XMQ6180G will serve local high-end transport market.
