Yutong: Keep Its Glory as No 1 China Bus and Coach Brand

In such a demand lessening condition in domestic market in 2007, Yutong still continued its sales increase, and stably won its glory as No 1 Brand. According to statistics, Yutong had sales account breakthrough of 12.5 billions Yuan, up 24% compared with the same period in 2006, including 25522 unit complete vehicles with a rise of 41.5%, equivalent to 8.8 billions Yuan sales account, which had an increase of 36.5%, and exported 3319 unit vehicles, equivalent to 1.39 billions Yuan, rising 84% and 92% respectively.
As one of the first bus and coach manufacturers, all people are impressed by its good characters and high qualities, and Yutong has gained an obvious 'differentiation advantage' of its products after promoting 'endurance' concept, and now 'endurance' performance becomes one very important standard people consider when they want to choose a bus or coach. In 2007, another 'value' concept has been put forward to help clients create more profits, which is an improvement of brand connotation. A two months' 'invaluable' activity was held in Dalian, Baoding, Shenzhen and many other cities, including 'oil saving hero competition', 'Yutong Oil Saving Strategy' and 'Heat Management System for Engine', aiming to let more Yutong's clients participate in the games to feel its value concept. The activity won great success and Yutong gained an 8 bus order from Daqing Bus Transport Group. Yutong will devote 4% of a whole year's sales account to develop its new technology, building post doctor workstation for new products testing. The latest technology is 'heat management system for engine', which is said can help to save 5% to 10% oil per hundred kilometers.
Yutong totally develops 20 new products in 2007, including notional first school bus, two swords series, 25 meters bullet BRT and etc. Under such an energy saving and environmental protection condition, Yutong also has a cooperation with America Aluminum Industry Company, using the world leading new material, body structure design technology and manufacture skills to create the latest generation of complete aluminum vehicle, leads the direction of bus and coach in the future. Service also makes Yutong win more and more reputation, such as suitable profitable blue print, varieties of added service, rapid and smooth vehicle reception schedule, high practicability training, web response management service and information sending system and etc. Yutong built up 440 net service stations with shorted radius from 150 kilometers to 80 kilometers now, promising to offer service immediately in 1 to 1.5 hours.
Fine management and export to overseas market are being considered as another two strengths which bring benefits for Yutong.
