Chongqing Invests 9.8 billion RMB for Construction of Rural Roads in 2013

www.chinabuses.org: It is learned from Chongqing Bureau of Roads that they will invest 9.8 billion RMB to boost development of roads in rural areas.
There are just rather simple and shabby roads in many romote rural areas, and there is even no roads for some parts of the vilages. Take Tongnan for example, there are no roads in 12 villages, and only 90% of the vilages have roads.
The investment will be used to construct 8,000 km roads in rural areas, including 6,000 km for villages, 2,000 km for towns and 620 vilages will have roads to connect other parts of the areas.
