JAC Provides Reliable and Less-costly Products to better Serve Rural Transportation

www.chinabuses.org : In recent years, government has been promoting the project of “Cuncuntong”, to satisfy the needs of transportation in the vast rural areas. However, passenger transportation markets in rural areas are complicated and the road conditions are bad, at the same time, transportation practitioners prefer buses with simplest accessories, stable quality. Since passenger source is disperse and unstable, causing low attendance and thus raising the costs; besides, as the oil price soars, the profit is further compressed; the upgrading of emission standards also helps the rising of the bus price. Passenger transportation companies are having hard times. It is now a matter of primary importance for all companies to work out a solution to all the problems.
Shandong enjoys fame for its advanced highway network and road constructions. Shanxian, located at the junction of four provinces to the southwest of Shandong, a county with 1.3 billion residents, boasts a huge market for rural passenger transportation. Kaixuan bus company is a major player here, delivering all passengers to destinations safe and sound. Which companies are to meet the requirement of Kaixuan? The answer is bus makers and chassis makers.
Kaixuan company is in possession of around 300 buses, which connects all townships up, using JAC chassis. President of the company, Zhang Changsuo introduces that: “ since 2005, we started cooperation with JAC, we recognize the professionalism of JAC chassis. After years of collaboration, 80% of chassis we use are JAC products.”
It was 2011, and it’s time for updating of buses, the soaring oil price kept leadership of the company thinking for a long time. Just then, representatives from JAC visited the company, making introduction of JAC chassis, with special focus on the low oil-consumption. Zhang Changsuo did not make decision right away, and decided to further learn about products of JAC. JAC technicians showed Zhang the engine workshop. The advanced technology and facilities helped Zhang to finally order 93 chassis form JAC.
As tested in real use, Zhang said: “As roughly calculated, JAC chassis saves 2-3 liters of oil for every 100km, presumably, a bus runs 200 km a day, thus, saving 20 yuan a day, which is 7000 yuan a year. This is a considerable saving for rural transportation.”
The profits of rural transportation is low, if anything happens to a bus , causing the bus stop running for one or even more days, it will be a bad result, which is not what customers are willing to see.
In the early days of cooperation with JAC, the service staff impressed Zhang with good attitude, which helped closing the biggest order of JAC chassis.
As the market economy develops, so does the service awareness. People are more and more focused on promoting service now. JAC chassis also emphasize the service marketing, centered around customers, proposed the “ten service commitments”, fully protecting the interests of customers.
Zhang said: “the service commitment of JAC benefited us a lot. ‘one-stop’ service plus the ‘nursery’ service served as guarantee for us. By applying setting up a service station, we are even more ensured.”
Backed by the smooth cooperation, Zhang succeeded applying for sales dealership of JAC cars, driving the collaboration even forward.
