In an accident-prone mountain road, one 11m King Long bus decelerated to below-30km/h from 60km/h with the help of auto speed-limiting control system before entering the curves.

This test was broadcast in CCTV-10 on February 27th, attracting the public attention to active safety technology. Dean of Automotive Engineering Department of Tsinghua University Li Keqiang said King Long auto speed-limiting control system deserved wider promotion.

On December 19th, 2012, hailed as industrial design Oscar "Red Star Award" was unveiled in Beijing and King Long new-generation XMQ6125 won the award by competing 258 excellent works of 154 enterprises from 25 countries.

From 2009 to 2013, King Long invest over CNY 0.5 billion to upgrade the software and hardware to maintain the innovation leader.
