15 More Bus Lines to Add in Xiamen for the next Five Years

www.chinabuses.org: It is learned from Xiamen municipal party committee that in the following five years, there will be 15 more new bus lines each year operated by the five major bus stop and transfer centers. And the new bus facilities will largely ease the traffic jam in Xiamen.
Cuerrently there are 307 bus lines in Xiamen, and 2.42 million journeys are finished each day. And apart from the 45 bus lines, 1,500 new buses will be put into use for the year, clean energy or hybrid city buses are preferred.
Apart from the six large bus transfer centers, there will be improved long-distance bus stations in Houxi, Haicang, and Xiangan. The public transport service levels in Jimei District will also be improved at the same time.
