Advanced charging technology, management system and commercial mode practised by the charging station will affect the promotion of national electric bus. As the biggest, currently, the main task is to supply energy to 50 Olympic use electric buses 24h with no interruption.

Some professor, Lin Cheng introduced that robots who stand in both sides of a vehicle only need 5 to 10 minutes to finish battery replacing work, the quick "battery replacing work" could meet big amount of battery replacing demand during Olympic Games.

Pure electric bus technology is developed by professor Sun Fengchun, vice president of Beijing Institute of Technology and his team of 150 people, which is absolutely self owned. It was said that one thing stimulated professor Sun, so since 1996, he and his team had decided to develop such technology.
