Reliance Travel Orders Commuter Scanias

www.chinabuses.org:Gravesend-based Reliance Travel, part of the Redwing Group, has ordered 12 Scania Irizar i6 coaches valued at £2.6million. Due for delivery in May, they are primarily for use on Reliance’s commuter services between Kent and central London. They will be 53-seaters with side-mounted wheelchair lifts, and are the company’s first Scanias.
Paul Hockley, Redwing’s general manager, says: "In addition to the quality of the Scania Irizar i6 we have been extremely impressed with Scania's pre-sales service and attention to detail. I am very confident that everything is now set up for a long and prosperous relationship with Scania."
