www.chinabuses.org： Peru’s public transport recently received over 120 Golden Dragon natural gas vehicles from importer Global Bus, representing this Chinese brand on the Peruvian market. The CNG-powered buses are being operated by major mass transit companies in the region.

Among the public transport operators who have acquired the Golden Dragon vehicles are Empresa de Transportes Copacabana which has a fleet of 30 buses, Sara Sara SA operating now 18 NGVs), and the company Pegaso which now has 20 buses powered by CNG.

These natural gas powered buses were initially designed for urban transportation in Lima, offering up to 70 percent savings in fuel consumption. CNG supply in Lima and Callao is fully guaranteed by the government.
