More Effort Required on Overseas Market for China Buses

Different from the cars (produced in mass production), buses are the commodities with “make to order” (made according to customers’ specific requirements), featured with low output and variety of models. China bus builders have the advantages in low labor cost and low product cost in the international market.
With the effort for several years, China buses and coaches have been broadly confirmed by the overseas customers and China bus builders made outstanding overseas sales achievements in the first half of 2011. Buses have been the representative China products to make the world know more about China to some degree.
However, we still have a big gap with the bus builders in Europe and America, which have high standard of product technologies, emission standard and security standard of products. It is still hard for our China bus builders to enter these markets, even though some have qualified with the exporting certificates required in such countries or regions.
It is crucial for bus builders to make more efforts on the setting up of product channel, after-sales, parts supply, dedicating to the opening of the overseas markets.
