SDEC 12V Engine Has Been Certified by Indian ARAI

www.chinabuses.org: Shanghai Diesel Engine Company(hereinafter referred to as the SDEC) 12V diesel engine has recently passed the India national certification ARAI, which is another series of products that have won the Indian pass after engine 114 and 118.
The first quarter of 2011, SDEC has received one order of 300 engines, which becomes the good start for the breakthrough of annual sales volume 1000 engines. In 2008, the first engine has been exported to India. By the end of 2010, the number of the Shangchai engines in the Indian market has exceeded 2500. Shangchai Engine have hadlocally certain influence and have won the customer’s praise.
Sales Company General Manager Wang Hongwei, after the study and analysis of the Indian market in the end of 2010, has pointed out that, in the year 2011, if the sales volume in Indian could have exceeded 1000 engines and that means that the number of the SDEC Engines in the Indian market could exceed 3000 engines which could not be ignored as 3000 engines is like a valve, if it is better done and this valve could be opened and the rest of the next few years will be beneficiary to us and further opening the Indian market is possible.
At present, SDEC three series engines-114,118 and 12V have smoothly passed the 2011 annual inspection of Indian National Certification ARAI. This inspection, started on April 3rd, was conducted in SDEC, lasted for two weeks and seven engines were inspected all of which have passed the certification, which has laid foundation for the smooth sales in the Indian market.
