Alfa Bus Secures Order for 300 Buses

www.chinabuses.org: Sales of Alfa Bus increased by 65% in 2010, and they secured an order for 300 buses in January, valuing 0.12 billion Yuan.
As a new power in China bus market, Alfa Bus developed rather fast in recent years, especially their pure electric buses, BRT as well as natural gas buses. Alfa pure electric buses have been sold for over seventy units till end of last year, and nearly 400 BRT and 250 pure natural gas buses have been sold.
Alfa Bus is always far-sighted on bus industry to create their own market-oriented ways of innovation. In 2002, Alfa Bus started to research and develop pure electric buses ahead of other domestic bus builders. In 2007, Alfa Bus, together with Scania Group to develop BRT buses to solve traffic jam problems in more and more cities. Eighteen-meter BRT buses have running in Changzhou for as long as 15 million km totally. Sales of 12-meter above Alfa buses increased by four times last year, ranking top three in China.
