www.chinabuses.org: The launching ceremony of the first 20 Zhongwen electric buses was grandly held by Henan New View Bus Company in Xiangfan County, Henan Province.

This bus company is located in Xiangfan County, Henan Province and started the Project Phase One on 18 March 2010, covering the area of 6000 acres. Project Phase One has completed on 15 October 2010 and formally put into production on 1 November. The annual production capacity reaches more than 5000 units, which basically meets the requirements of the electric bus market in the regions nearby. At present, the company has obtained the orders of over 1000 electric buses and the first 20 units will be operated in Xuchang City, Henan Province for demonstration operation.


Jia Bingcheng, the Chairman of the company introduced that, “We are one of the China bus builders, specializing in the manufacturing of electric buses and owns special advantages of key technologies such as battery system, motor, drive system, energy management system and body lightweight.” Body lightweight is one of the features of Zhongwen electric buses. The weight of one 12-meter single-deck bus can reduce 3 tons and one 12-meter double-deck bus can reduce 5 tons. It means larger passenger capacity and got 16 technical patents.


The successful operation of Zhongwen electric buses attracted the abroad attention from the overseas customers, in particular, in Germany, Japan, Australia, Spain and Britain and will come to Linyi for visiting in 2011.
