Sales Analysis of China Light Buses Export This Year
28 October 2010
www.chinabuses.org: China light buses export surges this year. As many as 6,371 light buses were exported in the first nine months, up 186.67% over last year. The turnover were 558 million RMB, up 201.73% over the first nine months in 2009, much more than that of medium and large buses. We can say that bus export in the first three quarters were mainly driven by light buses.
And the target markets are mainly developing countries, such as Sough Africa, Nigeria, Malaysia, Burma and some South American countries. And this may due to these under-developing countries were less shocked by the world financial crisis, and as their recovery, light buses become their first priority influenced by their consumption levels. And the only non-traditional factor in these traditional light bus export market is the World Cup held in South Africa.
Kinglong Bus is the biggest winner in light bus export markets. They have exported as many as 4,000 Kinglong Haise light buses till now with Sough Africa as the biggest market. In addition, Jiulong Motors performed rather well this year. Although founded in 2007, their Jiulong business light bus is a medium and high grade bus model. The bus model was released in October last year. More then 3,000 Jiulong business light buses have been exported and their main market is also Sough Africa. CAM Company are the distributors for both Kinglong bus and Jiulong light buses in the country.
Surely it is just an accidental event for South Africa to be the hottest target market for China light buses this year, and they are also welcome in South Asia, South Africa as well as African countries.
