The price of the bus is about one million yuan, its fuel-efficient effect is approximately equal to that of a hybrid bus. The technical upgrade of aluminum alloy, price reduction of raw materials, price hike of petroleum and improvement of energy efficiency index would help to popularize the lightweight technology.
