Euro Ⅴ Emission Standards Buses to Operate in China

www.chinabuses.org: Beijing has tried buses adhering to Euro Ⅴ emission standards when national Ⅲ buses are running elsewhere. Beijing Public Transport Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd. Called for bids for more than 1,000 city buses, including 100 buses adhering to Euro Ⅴ emission standards. And the buses are going to run in Bafangda Transport Company in April. And this will be the first operation Euro Ⅴ buses in China.
And 50 Euro Ⅴ buses are being manufactured by Ankai bus currently.
Beijing government has long supported energy-saving and environmentally friendly city buses. Since Beijing Olympic Games, all city buses in Beijing Public Transport Company have reached national Ⅴ emission standards.
Domestic engine makers can produce engines with Euro Ⅴ emission standards. And the 100 city buses are all equipped with Yuchai YC6L engines, and Yuchai has complete after-sales services and sufficient parts supply.
City buses with Euro Ⅴ emission standards are a trend and as a program for public good, public transport system has to keep environmentally friendly ideas. More and more buses with Euro Ⅴ standards will run in China.
