China Auto Giants Emerge

www.chinabuses.org: News from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM for short as below) reveals that the First Automobile Works (FAW for short), Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation(SAIC for short) and Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM for short) firmly stand the first, second and third places respectively on the list of China's top 10 automakers. Geely Holding Group, a Zhejiang-based automaker, enters the top 10 list for the first time. Also, it is the only private-owned enterprise in the list.
Chang'an Automobile Group places the fourth one and the Chery Automobile ranks the eighth position. CAAM says the related positions according to their total production and sale performance. The other big Chinese automakers, such as Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Company, Guangzhou Automobile Group and Jianghuai Automobile Company(JAC) also have very strong competitive ability in China. The development and business expansion of these automakers are very fast.
