Recently, Xiamen Municipal Government revealed to the public that it is striving to realize an annual production capacity of 40,000 units of large- and medium-sized buses & coaches and 30,000 units of bus chassis. Moreover, it will continue to upgrade its technological level so as to form an annual production capacity of over 60,000 units of light-duty buses.

In recent years, Xiamen, a coastal city located in Southeast China’s Fujian Province, witnessed phenomenal growth in its auto industry. Led by two bus giants, Kinglong and Golden Dragon, the city’s auto industrial chain system is now in the fast making.

Currently, Xiamen Auto Industry is entering a new phase of development after completing the construction of Xiamen Machinery Industry Concentration Area early this year. To date, 16 bus building related projects have already made their home in the area. In addition, a new bus production base set up by Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd. has entered into its second phase of construction.
