China’s Commercial Vehicles Enter European and American Markets

China is close to its dream of entering international high-end market, and it’s changing its products emission hampered by European and American markets.
Recently, Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. begins to produce 400,000 units engines , which meet the Europe IV emission standard, it can not only meet the domestic demand for commercial vehicles, but also plans to export overseas.
Zhang Xiaoyu,, executive vice president of China Machinery Industry Federation ,said, the production of Europe IV standard engines will accelerate light-duty truck product structure adjustment and upgrading of China's commercial vehicles, while make technical reserves for domestic products entering global high-end market.
In fact, China's automotive products have never been exported to European and American markets. It is learned that because there are not low-emission, high-performance light-duty diesel engine products in China, that China-made light-duty truck and MPV have no chance of entering developed countries markets.
Experts said that the production of this engine will not only improve domestic top-level power system, and more importantly, make us have chance to enter developed countries markets. The light-duty diesel engines produced by Foton and Cummins, meet the strictest environmental protection demand, and have chance to enter the markets in Europe, America, Japan and South Korea and other developed countries.
