10 December 2025

On December 4, Yutong delivered 52 ZK6890HGQ natural gas buses to Gulistan City in the Sirdaryo Region of Uzbekistan, enhancing the local public transport network. Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the handover ceremony and inspected the buses.

The delivery is part of efforts to upgrade public transport services in Gulistan and improve residents’ daily commuting experience. During the ceremony, the president reviewed the delivery and operational arrangements and offered guidance on the further development of urban transit in the region.

The new buses will operate across seven routes, serving 23 communities in Gulistan and benefiting thousands of residents daily. Once in service, headways are expected to be reduced by half, offering more reliable and efficient travel for approximately 29,000 passengers each day.

Featuring a low-floor design with a built-in wheelchair ramp and priority seating, the model prioritizes accessibility and passenger comfort. Powered by natural gas and compliant with Euro‑5 emission standards, these buses help lower exhaust emissions and reduce noise pollution, contributing to a cleaner and quieter urban environment.

Since entering the Uzbek market in 2012, Yutong has delivered close to 2,200 buses to the country, primarily supporting the tourism and passenger transport sectors. With a well‑stocked parts warehouse and a professional after‑sales team, Yutong provides 24/7 full‑lifecycle service support, consistently delivering reliable products and quality service to Uzbekistan.

Looking ahead, Yutong will continue to partner with the Uzbek government in modernizing public transport, advancing green mobility, and helping citizens enjoy safer, more convenient, and environmentally friendly travel through trusted technology and high‑quality products.
