On July 11, 2024, the top event in the new energy commercial vehicle sector, the "2024 EC-PAC Electric Commercial Vehicle Assessment Competition," concluded successfully in Chongqing. Representative new energy models from 23 mainstream automakers, including Ankai Bus, comprehensively demonstrated the cutting-edge level of China's new energy commercial vehicles.
Ankai participated in the competition with its 6-meter pure electric E6 and 8-meter pure electric E9 buses. The E9 stood out and won the "Energy Efficiency Award," while the E6 performed exceptionally, winning three honors: the "Overall Performance Award," "Energy Efficiency Award," and "Range Excellence Award."
In 2023, China's new energy vehicles achieved annual production and sales of 9.587 million and 9.495 million units, respectively, with year-on-year growth rates of 35.8% and 37.9%. The market share reached 31.6%. The proportion of traditional fuel vehicles gradually declined, orderly promoting progress in carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
As a pioneer in China's new energy passenger vehicle industry, Ankai Bus has always maintained high investment, high standards, and forward-thinking in new energy technologies. With early planning and continuous exploration, Ankai has gradually promoted breakthroughs in core new energy technologies and continuously applied them to products, providing a variety of mature operational solutions for passenger transportation scenarios such as highways, public transportation, tourism, and group travel.
Taking the Ankai E9, which won the "Energy Efficiency Award," as an example, this product, as a representative model of Ankai's E series, combines a fashionable appearance, low-floor design, full-load body, and cutting-edge intelligent driving assistance technologies, flexibly addressing diverse travel scenarios and leading a new trend in public transportation.
