The experts visited the product exhibition hall. After understanding R & D strength and market conditions of Hengtong ,experts had been positive for Hengtong developed a number of highway buses, commended the professional of Hengtong in the field of energy saving and environmental protection.
Leaders and experts drove Hengtong gas / electric bus
Subsequently, leaders examined Hengtong bus in the new energy R & D research and work, visited and drive China's first hybrid gas-electric vehicles --- Hengtong European style city bus. In the trial, the 27% saving gas rate of the bus received the unanimous praise of experts group, leaders fully affirmed Hengtong made the outstanding achievements in the R & D of domestic new energy bus.

In 2007, Hengtong jointed Yuchai to introduce advanced hybrid technology of U.S. Eaton Corporation, firstly producing hybrid gas / electric bus, hybrid petrol / electric bus, R & D new energy bus technology, currently Hengtong is R & D hybrid power system bus.
