On March, 25, Zhongtong officially delivered a batch of electric buses to Jilin Public Transport Group, helping the city promote ice & snow leisure tourism.

In recent years, Jilin city government has been making relentless efforts to promote local tourism industry. In response to the call for carbon peaking and carbon neutralization, it has been working closely with Zhongtong to develop more customized travel solutions to suit varied needs of tourists.

In 2023, the city introduced its first batch of Zhongtong electric buses. After their smooth operations for nearly one year, they have fully demonstrated their competitive reliability in the frigid weather. Moreover, they have been providing greener and more convenient travel services for tourists. Data show these electricity powered buses have helped the bus operator cut its operation costs by 70% compared with fossil fuel powered buses. For these reasons, Jilin Public Transport Group bought its second batch of Zhongtong electric buses earlier this year.

Jilin city, located in Jilin Province in northeast China, is well known for its natural beauty and attracts millions of tourists from both home and abroad.
