On February, 17, a batch of Ankai G9 buses officially embarked on their journey to Saudi Arabia. Huang Liping, president of Ankai, together with other managerial staff witnessed the historical moment.

Coated in bright colors, Ankai G9 has a streamlined body structure and spacious room on board, allowing passengers to fully enjoy urban views and travels on the road. Equipped with a monocoque body structure, G9 has received electrophoresis treatment and thus is highly resistant to corrosion and rust. Delivering reliable performances, it has extremely powerful air-conditioning system and powertrain system.

In recent years, with the implementation of Belt & Road Initiative, Ankai has significantly strengthened its presence in the overseas market. In Saudi Arabia, Ankai G9 functions both as a city bus and a school bus, greatly upgrading the country’s public transport networks. After making its entry into the Middle East country many years ago, Ankai has developed a host of customized bus & coach products and has long gained a firm foothold in the local bus market with a total number of over 10,000 units in smooth operation.

In 2023, Ankai’s total export volume went up by 169.33% year on year. By overcoming a host of difficulties, the bus maker demonstrated a strong resilience and a huge market potential. In 2024, it will continue to strengthen its marketing efforts in the overseas market.
