900+ Units Higer New Energy Buses Help Beijing Safeguard Its Air Quality

According to Higer, it delivered over 1,000 units buses to Beijing in the past three years, 90% of which are power by new energy. Together with 110 units Higer hydrogen fuel cell buses in smooth operation in the capital city, Higer new energy buses have been playing an important role in safeguarding the capital city’s air quality.

Despite the fact that the purchasing cost of Higer new energy buses is relatively high, they help bus operators cut their operation costs substantially. The operation costs saved can easily help bus operators offset the higher purchasing costs. Also when compared with fossil fuel powered buses, Higer new energy buses generate less noise and provide more comfortable traveling environment for passengers.

Apart from Beijing, Higer new energy buses have also established a solid presence in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shandong, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Chongqing, etc. In addition, they have made their way to Israel, South Korea, Brazil and other countries and regions.

Compared with fossil fuel powered buses, new energy buses achieve much higher energy efficiency and help cut carbon emissions. Connected with the internet, they become highly intelligent and efficient. In recent years, they have become increasingly popular among bus operators across the globe. According to the statistics released by China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA), the sales of new energy medium- and large-sized buses accounted for 31% of the entire sales volume in the market in the first half of this year.
