On March, 8, Ankai held a grand departure ceremony for its export of a record-breaking number of 800 units 10.5-meter natural gas powered buses to Mexico for operation. As the biggest bus export from China to Mexico, the deal is set to send an encouraging message to North America and the world as a whole for green public transport. It also marks a new milestone for Ankai’s business expansion in the global market.
According to Ankai, all these 800 units buses will be put into operation on bus routes in Monterrey in north Mexico. Their operation fully demonstrates Ankai’s impressive growth in the global market and showcases the deepened ties between China and Mexico.
Recently, along with a growing population, Monterrey decided to introduce 800 units natural gas powered city buses to upgrade the city’s public network and provide more travel conveniences for local residents. After gonging through several rounds of investigations and intense bidding process, Ankai successfully win the heart of the bus operator in Monterrey.
As a well-received bus model in Mexico, Ankai 10.5-meter natural gas city bus is equipped with a monocoque body structure.
