CME Teams up with China Sunlong to Supply Buses in Malaysia

www.chinabuses.org: CME Group Bhd is teaming up with China-based bus manufacturer Shanghai Shenlong Bus Co Ltd (Sunlong) to venture into the Malaysian market for the supply of buses and other vehicles.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CME said it entered into an agreement today with Sunlong, which is also involved in the research, development, manufacturing and sales of buses internationally.
CME itself is principally involved in providing comprehensive solutions related to designing, manufacturing and sales of various types of specialised mobility vehicles, as well as firefighting and safety vehicles.
Based on the agreement, CME and Sunlong will work together on a synergistic and cooperative basis to promote the sales, distribution and marketing of buses, and provide other services related to the sales and maintenance of buses or bus fleets.
They will also consider the setting up and manufacturing of electric charging stations for buses, and setting up a manufacturing plant for buses in Malaysia.
