www.chinabuses.org: According to the list of 2015 Intelligent Manufacturing Projects released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, Large and Medium Cylinder Digital Foundry project has been approved. This means Yuchai has stepped forward in the promoting the integration of Information and industrialization.

Large and Medium Cylinder Digital Foundry project is jointly developed by the Yuchai and Machinery Research institute. This project ensure the high quality of the whole process of cylinder casting production by the application of safety and implementing controllable intelligent manufacturing method, such as the digital casting expert system, the digital foundry workshop system, the intelligent casting cleaning system, the automatic detection system of surface defects, and the safety and accuracy requirements.

 
Currently specific implementation plan of the project is under work and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
