In this year's event, Cummins brought the latest ISB engines with new Smart Efficiency ratings for 2017, upcoming Euro 6 OBD C requirements. OBD C is the latest step in the Euro 6 legislation and affects new vehicle type approvals from 31st December 2015 and all vehicles from 31st December 2016.
Allison Transmission, the world’s largest manufacturer of fully automatic commercial-duty transmissions, announced the new release with Van Hool. The first vehicle equipped with Allison’s T525R transmission is a TX17 Altano 3-axle 13.20-meter coach powered by a PACCAR MX13-375/510hp engine for Belgian coach travel operator, De Zigeuner.
