Yuchai Signs Letter of Undertaking on Environmental Responsibility

www.chinabuses.org: On July 6, 2015, completion ceremony on reform of National Ⅳand NationalⅤdiesel city buses emission in Beijing city is held. Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Fang Li, Director of the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau of motor vehicle emissions management office, Li Kunsheng and deputy director Ai Yi, General Manager of Beijing Public Transport Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Beijing Public Transport Group), Wang Chunjie, and Deputy general manager, Zhong Qianghua, Director of Technology Department of Beijing public transport group, Ma Huixin, General Manager of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Yuchai), Wu Qiwei, and Deputy General Manager Wang Limin, Chief Engineer Lin Zhiqiang and other guests the ceremony.

Under the witness of the Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau and the Beijing Public Transport Group, Lin Zhiqiang reads and signs the letter of undertaking on Yuchai fulfilling environmental responsibility on site. As a representative of the domestic powertrain, Yuchai commits to the public to provide environmentally friendly products.

Another major event on the ceremony is summing-up of the reform of National Ⅳand NationalⅤengines. To date, more than 8,800 units of city buses in Beijing have been reformed, among which 3,501 units are Yuchai engine-equipped.


As a engine manufacture who issued corporate social responsibility report for eight consecutive years, Yuchai keeps the leading record that firstly launching to the market of all levels of engines and hybrid system ranging from NationalⅠto Euro Ⅵ.
